High voltage cabling

Today I was trying out my new tool: pneumatic crimper.

And heat gun and super size heat shrink :)

I started with the three equal length cables for connecting the motor and controller. It was surprisingly easy to use -- much more so than those cheap 12V crimpers for spade connectors.

Here's the finished result:

HV cables on the hyper9 motor and controller. Yes, I'm still using thin wires in the rest of the install because I don't have a real battery pack yet.

I'm running out of tasks until I make my mind on the battery pack. Project is also coming up slower due to lack of time. I've been busy organizing the garage but it will eventually pay off.
