DC/DC converter arrived

It's been a while since the last update. I've been busy with other non-related stuff and also some boring stuff, namely wiring the leads for all the battery modules (to connect a manual charger/voltmeter) and a future BMS.

At the same time, the DC/DC converter finally arrived, along with some more HV cable and fuses.

I've gone for a chinese TCCharger unit good for 1.2kW. I've read mixed reviews about these chinese solutions but the truth is that there is not many alternatives.

I'm planning to use the remaining space next to the inverter, like this:

DC/DC converter in place
DC/DC converter in place. I also considered in front of the junction box but I guess it's more tidy next to the inverter.

I also got some fuses to place before and after the DC/DC converter and a big one on the battery pack. Here's the 600A 150VDC fuse inside its adapted house:

Main fuse (600A 150VDC)
Main fuse (600A 150VDC) and terminals inside assassinated box :)

Main fuse inside box
Nice and tidy with the lid on.

This fuse will be secured in a MDF board close to the battery modules.

So, nothing very interesting to see here but safety features that needed to be done.

Hi Rod,

thank you for your kind words and sorry about my reply delay! I didn't notice I had "unapproved" comments but hopefully I've changed that setting and also added a feature to notify about new comments so it doesn't happen again ;)

Best,
