I've worked around four hours -- on two separate days and going easy -- and I've managed to disconnect the entire engine apart from its mounts and distribution.
All the electrical, coolant and air connections are undone. It was pretty easy and all the bolts and nuts came out fairly well!

The started engine is also removed from the bell housing and I've loosen all nuts and bolts from both the two engine mounts and the bell housing.
Now I'm only waiting for the engine crane to arrive -- a friend is going to lent me one.
In the meantime, I will work on the electrical motor & controller and understanding the current electrical diagram of the vehicle.
I already noticed there is still some connections of a previous aftermarket alarm system and I'm also going to remove the radio.
