I recently got hold of an used pressure wash (yeah!). It's very therapeutic to use. :)
I had enough of that old, dirty interior and decided to remove the seats and mats. And gave it a good, thorough wash!

I love the simplicity of these older designs. And the rubber plugs we can remove to let the water drain! :)
After hitting with the pressure wash, I dried most of it with a microfiber cloth and finished with compressed air.
I still want to remove some local grease/glue to make the best of the situation.

I'm considering having just some rubber mats in the foot wells. I do have the original mats and I will also pressure wash them (for "science" purposes) but I don't think I will use them. I also saw some photos of people who applied "bed liner". I do like the look and practicality of it but I'm still not committed to it.

Hi Octavio,
thank you for your message and sorry about my reply delay! I didn't notice I had "unapproved" comments but hopefully I've changed that setting and also added a feature to notify about new comments so it doesn't happen again ;)
I hope you manage to convert your Samurai. Please share your achievements! I would love to see those and learn from them.
Best,
